Thirty-four years ago, my husband and I purchased our home in San Mateo. Our
son was born, raised and educated in San Mateo's public schools. I have lived
and worked in this city. It has become part of the fabric of my life. Back
then, I strongly believed in the importance of participatory democracy and the
need to keep citizens informed and involved. I still believe it.

After three decades of involvement in community and grass roots activities, I
have reached the right time in my life to devote my experience to the duties
and responsibilities of local government. I have the background and knowledge,
the commitment, energy and time required to serve you on our City Council and I
would be honored to do so.
