Mike Harris	Age: 50
Occupation: Father/Realtor
Education & Qualifications:
The job of a Redwood City Council member is to provide our city with vision and
leadership.
Our town is alive with activity. The Electronic Arts development in Redwood
Shores is the third largest construction project in the Bay Area. Our new City
Hall has just opened.
But where are the traffic plans for accommodating the thousands of jobs that
will be added by Electronic Arts? Why did our new City Hall run 30% over
budget?
As a member of SAMCAR's legislative committee, I know first hand how important
it is to have effective City government. Serving on the Citizen Advisory
Committee to Pass Measure A, the school bond, gave me valuable experience in
getting our citizen's to be active and involved in government,
As we move into the 21st century with all of it's challenges and opportunities,
we will need leaders with vision and ideas if Redwood City is to become an even
better place to live and raise our families. That's going to take new
leadership. I believe I can provide that leadership. I want to work for all the
citizens of Redwood City. I would very much appreciate your vote.
Respectfully,
/s/ Mike Harris
