Foundation (1991-1994); Hillsdale High Music Boosters Co-President (1996-1997);
Incumbent.

The successful education of our children depends on a collective effort by
parents, educators, and community. Over the past eight years, I have worked to
help people understand this interdependency and to foster a cooperative spirit
among all concerned.

New programs are being implemented which offer the educational community
greater choices in educational approaches. I have and will continue to monitor
and evaluate these new programs, as well as other existing programs, to ensure
high standards, effectiveness and quality. I will continue to oversee
expenditures and advocate to keep funds close to the students.

Each child must be academically challenged to perform at his/her highest level
of ability through quality teaching and programming. In addition, a safe school
and community environment in which our children can learn must be maintained. I
would value the opportunity to continue working for our community through
re-election to the School Board.
