                            City Council Member

   Education and Qualifications:
   Profession: Financial Advisor
   Education: Ed.D. Organizational Management; M.A. Education/Child
   Development Qualifications: Local business owner * Decision-making,
   problem solving, and mediation skills * Proven community leader *
   Experience in public policy
   Experience: City: City Council 1992-1997; Mayor 1995-96; Planning
   Commission 1987-1992. Regional: ABAG Executive Council, SCC Solid
   Waste Commission, SCC Library Joint Powers Authority, County
   Transportation Agency Advisory Committee.
   Goals:
     * I will work toward a cooperative effort with the school districts
       to develop and finance buildings and programs for youth.
     * I will work with neighborhoods to seek traffic calming measures to
       ensure safe neighborhoods.
     * I will support a business environment that maintains our unique
       small town atmosphere while providing a vital economic tax base.
     * I will support our basic values as a single-family residential
       city dedicated to a quiet, family-oriented lifestyle.
       
   I have the experience and proven ability to represent you. I have
   listened to you and know the history and background of the issues
   facing our community. You can count on me to maintain and preserve the
   high standards that we value. I am dedicated to a vision that
   encourages personal responsibility and reaffirms the traditions that
   make our community unique.
