The state's goal is for all children to be reading on grade level by the end of third grade. What do we do about children with reading disabilities?
 - Make board meetings more conducive to participation from the public.
 - 
The board, as a direct liaison between the school and the community, needs to listen.  The community should have  greater input.
 - Retain experienced teachers! Teachers need a contract!
 - 
The highest quality teaching staff should be recruited and retained.  It is a problem when 36% of the teachers in one school asked for transfers or left the district. Teachers deserve an employment contract!
