Lieutenant Governor

I am a compassionate conservative, dedicated to advancing anti-tax, anti-crime, pro-business and pro-family policies. Furthermore, I believe in the importance of building coalitions and working with people of all ideologies and backgrounds as I develop sound, substantive legislation. Last year, I authored the Teen Driver Safety Act which will save the lives of thousands of teen-agers by implementing a graduated drivers licensing system in California. Also, I have worked with several groups who support and helped draft my bills related to HMO reform and personal privacy.
