This information is provided by the candidate

I believe that my community service, professional career, and education have given me the opportunity to garner a broad range of experience in leadership and administration of complex issues in very diverse environments.

My entire career and community involvement reflects a commitment to social innovation and change. I have a strong foundation to represent the vast cultural, economic and geographical diversity of District 4. I have a history of providing effective, dynamic leadership with the ability to think critically, build consensus and to take risks in advocating for community concerns.

The diversity of Alameda County will need a coalition builder to insure social and economic progress into the next millennium.
