Dear Neighbor, Our community is at a crossroads. Whether we live in Aptos, Corralitos, La Selva Beach, Rio del Mar, Seacliff, Watsonville or Capitola, we share common concerns of preserving the character and identity of our neighborhoods, maintaining the balance between rural and urban land and ensuring that our children and grandchildren have a safe and healthy place to live. My family and I love living in Santa Cruz County. My husband, Terry Hancock, and I have lived in Aptos and La Selva Beach for over 16 years. Our four kids attend local schools, from Valencia to UCSC, and play on local sports teams. I am running for County Supervisor because we need a strong voice to preserve and improve the quality of life in this community. As Supervisor I will:
