I served on the Santa Rosa Planning Commission from 1993-1996. In 1996 I was elected to the Santa Rosa City Council. Some of my accomplishments include the adoption of a first-ever Youth and Family Element for Santa Rosa's General Plan, adoption of a city-wide plan for pedestrian improvements near schools, including $8.5 million in funding for those improvements, restoration of Brush Creek between Highway 12 and Santa Rosa Creek, assisting in downtown revitalization efforts, preservation of scenic roads, and adoption of Santa Rosa's urban growth boundary. My husband and I own a small lawfirm in downtown Santa Rosa. We have three children, Erin, Joel and Rachel.
