Ventura County, CA March 7, 2000 Election
Smart Voter

Do Something.

By Eric B. Albert

Candidate for Democratic Party County Central Committee; Supervisorial District 2

A little motivating phrase, which I applied to bring the CDP Business and Professional Caucus back into the mainstream, and boost membership.
If most opposition parties desire that we do nothing, know nothing, and hate all else, we must oppose them and their attitudes, if only for their unworthiness.

I ask for your vote in Ventura County as responsible citizens, because I choose to participate in order to keep our myriad of electoral systems functioning. I know we lead busy lives in good times and in bad. It's easy to sleep at the helm, when our lives seem to be automated in the information age. Let us remember to implement our dream of accessibility for all, while we define and enact progress in education, transportation, industrial diversity, and add new citizens in a smart way to towns from Oak Park to Port Hueneme.

I know that together we can share the Internet, affordable healthcare, environmental quality in planned communities, and support our county with a new growing State University, and a mixed collection of industries to support employment.

Please vote through the entire ballot on Tuesday, March 7, 2000, and add Eric Albert to your cast of leaders who act on their concerns.
