I AM HERE FOR YOU!

  • I vow to work to retain businesses and jobs while maintaining essential services and a safe, prosperous and clean environment for all county residents.

  • I have been a life-long Ventura County resident and successful business owner since 1958.

  • I've been a Ventura City Councilman-Mayor since 1977.

  • I have a proven experienced leadership in government.

MY GOALS:

  • Tough fiscal management using sound business practices.

  • Reorganization of county government for better accountability.

  • Prioritize dollars for services that people want and need...
    -Public Safety
    -Medical resources
    -Libraries
    -Clean air & non-polluted beaches

  • Maintain growth while protecting our clean environment...
    -Protect agricultural land and green belts.
    -Retain local businesses and protect jobs
    -Strengthen our diversified economy

  • Take tough stands on difficult issues with business-like solutions.

  • Have an open line of communication with all residents.

  • I have served on 25 important countywide committees both in government and the private sector.

  • I support - STOP Weldon.

The majority of District One voters have elected me to office six times. During those years I have acted with high integrity and in good faith, and most importantly of all...I have listened to the people.
