Service to the community is a great resposibility and a great honor. Living in a democratic society that presents us with so much freedom also presents us with many distractions. These distractions can blind us to what our duties should be.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve my community. I will work honestly and diligently for the district. I will listen to what BART users, employees and the community in general say about the system and public transit in the Bay Area. I will spend the time and effort to research information and find the answers and solutions to problems that may arise.
