Governing Board Member; Mount Diablo Unified School District

Debra Mason is a lifetime resident of West Pittsburg (now Bay Point), graduate of MDUSD's K-12 programs. She has received certificates from Diablo Valley College in both Library Technology and Conflict Resolution. As a parent she has had two children in the school district. She worked as a Instructional Assistant for MDUSD for 20 years. Debra is currently a Program Coordinator of After School Programs at Ambrose Recreation and Park District. ___________________________________________________________

She has served on the Bay Point Municipal Advisory Council as an elected member and currently serves on the Redevelopent Committee (PAC). Other committee work includes MDUSD Safe & Drug Free Task Force, CCC Children & Families Policy Forum, California Department of Education Committee of Practitioners, and Healthy Start. Her respect and enthusiasm for community serve her well in her civic efforts. She looks forward to the challenge of serving on the School Board.
