Candidate for
Board Member; Cameron Park Community Services District

I have lived in Cameron Park with my wife and children for 14 years. Before my appointment to the Parole Board, I was El Dorado County's Chief Probation Officer. I previously served this community on the Cameron Park CSD Board of Directors during a time of fiscal uncertainty, largely driven by the statewide recession.. As your representative, I participated actively in resolving the District's management and financial wores, to include efforts that led to the succcessful overhaul of local fire and emergency service delivery resulting in increased services for fewer dollars.

I am a former Cameron Park volunteer firefighter and continue serving our District as the CC&R Committee Chariman, doing graffiti abatement, committee work, and fund raising to support our parks. As a community-minded advocate, I have worked on task forces within the Rescue Union School Distirct, chaired the Cameron Park Design Review Committtee (appointed by Supervisor Sam Bradley), am past-president of the Kiwanis Club, and Little League Coach. I believe strongly in the value of local governance and am committed to community service.
