We are among the fortunate few to be citizens of the United States of America, where the opportunities for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness make our country the greatest in human history. This heritage that has been handed down to us by our forefathers is not only preserved by the men and women who walk the halls of Congress, but by the hearts and minds of everyday citizens like you and me.

I for one have truly experienced the opportunities that are available to those who are willing to dream and who have the determination and initiative to turn their dreams into a reality. It is now time for me to give back to my community all that it has given to me, and to ensure that the same opportunities exist for future generations.

Vote for Derek Reeve for public safety! As City Councilman, I will work closely with state and county officials to ensure that San Juan Capistrano has the best law enforcement, firefighting and safety resources in the country.

Vote for Derek Reeve to preserve San Juan Capistrano! While property rights need to be respected, I will fight to preserve the quality of life and natural beauty of our city. Increased growth reduces property values, increases traffic, and further erodes our traditional small town way of life. Keep San Juan Capistrano's small town ambiance and respect our unique historical integrity.
