Vouchers NO, Save Our SchoolsBy J. Tilman WilliamsCandidate for Governing Board Member; Garden Grove Unified School District | |

Opposes Proposition 38 Vouchers as a danger to our public schools and a danger to our ConstitutionAll of my children and grandchildren went to public schools in Garden Grove. I went to public schools. I am an advocate for strong Constitutional separation of church and state. I oppose the voucher ideas in Proposition 38. I urge you to vote "NO". Save Our Schools! You have defeated vouchers twice before. You did so because you understood what the Bill of Rights in our Constitution means. I think the voters, you, also know that our public schools would be hurt, some destroyed, by vouchers. We also aren't being told how expensive these vouchers would be. We can't afford this. Nothing has contributed more to the betterment of this nation than compulsory public education. We need to protect it with a vote for our children, and a vote for our Constitution. Join with me and vote "No" on 38. |
