 - Professional career as university professor/administrator, secondary teacher, counselor, wrestling coach, and national and international consultant.
 - Education includes four degrees from four universities with a doctoral degree from U.C. Berkeley.  Major/minors: educ. admin., counseling, & science
 - 14 years public school experience in IA and CA and 24 years experience in the CSU Syetem with 2 years in the Brazilian Ministry of Education.
 - Resident of the district since 1968, married w/four children who attended 6 district schools and completed degrees in higher education.
 - Experience as advisor to the Commission for Teacher Credentials and  the Journal for Calif. Professors of Educ. Admin. (CAPEA) editorial board
 - Past president of CAPEA & Suburban Sch. Dist. Assoc.; currently CSBA Higher Educ. Remediation Task Force & CSBA Delegate Assembly member
