  • Appointed to the Soquel Creek Water District Board, March 2000, selected from a field of 16 applicants(which included my four running opponents)
  • Member, Soquel Creek Water District Public Advisory Committee (PAC)
  • President, Aptos Chamber of Commerce 1999-2000; Nominated for Aptos "Man of the Year", 2000
  • Volunteer at local schools (Aptos High, Aptos Jr. High, Cabrillo College)
  • Served on Santa Cruz County's "Welfare to Work Reform" Task Force
  • I am a community volunteer seeking the best for our distict, not a politician with my own agenda to push.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • We must carefully balance our needs with the available supply of water to avoid salt-water intrusion of our aquifer
  • We must seek an additional source of water for the district in order to protect our aquifer and meet current and future water demands.
  • I support as much public input as possible while considering environmentally sound and economical additional water supplies.
