Official Information

Ordinance 65-2000 to provide for authority to change districts for Councilmanic elections. The purpose of the his proposed charter amendment is to meet the requirements levied upn the City by State and Federal authorities. Because of recent legislation, the City of Springdale finds it necessary to add the following to Article Ix, Section D7c of our charter: (2) In any year in which changes are made to U.S. Census Tracts within the municipality (3) when changes in State or Federal law so require.
