Shall the proposed Charter amendments and revisions as recommended by the City of Silverton Council, be adopted?

This is no levy or Bond Issue on the Ballot in Silverton this Election. The proposed Charter Amendments will not raise taxes in any way.

In 1980 A new Charter was adopted. At that time it was stated that the New Charter would be checked further to make sure any problems were corrected. The amendments represent those areas that need to be refined and improved. They are intended to make the charter work better. This will Not Raise Taxes. The Amendments Eliminate some vaguely worded parts of the charter that could cause problems in the future.
