Transportation
We should be the green transportation capital. I pledge to put at least 2 people who use mass transit for the majority of their trips on the MTA Board. I will also go completely without a personal car at least one day per week when I am in office.
Housing and Homelessness
A sustainable city plan encourages mixed use, green space, and affordable housing built with sustainable practices. Take a cue from Curitiba and have a contest for the most ingenious housing projects, instead of the current crop of showpiece mega developments.
