Political Philosophy for Joshua Simon

Schools can be community centers to bring parents, neighbors and business together for the benefit of our kid's education. As a father, with two daughters in the Emeryville Child Development Center I am committed to bringing excellence to our schools. This conviction led me to help establish the Emeryville Education Network email list(EdNet@JoshRuth.com). For two years, EdNet has brought people together with news about events, meetings and volunteer opportunities. My concern over the current fiscal crisis, led me to volunteer for EUSD's new Budget Advisory Committee. As a School Board member, I will continue to build community support for our schools, teachers and the needs of our students. |
