My philosophy for education and for Cerritos College, in particular, is excellence. There is a relationship that I call the "Triangle of Success"...If the College succeeds, students will succeed. If students succeed, our community will succeed.
The college serves a population that is diverse in age, diverse in interests, diverse in educational goals, and diverse in skills and preparation. By setting and maintaining a standard of excellence, we can make Cerritos College serve the whole range of students and people who go to it for education, training and skills development. There is no reason why Cerritos College can not be the best in the state. To do so will require leadership and vision...I am the candidate that will provide such leadership.
