FACILITIES
Completion of a new middle school, moderization and expansion of high school, and conversion of Yolo Middle School to and elementary K-5 school.
CONFIGURATION OF SCHOOLS
I support maintaining a k-5, 6-8, 9-12 grade configuration for our schools. Smaller elementary schools provide a better learning environment for students, parents and staff. Also, smaller schools are more likely to become powerful learning communties.
SCHOOL SITE RESOURCES
If we expect teachers to teach and students to learn, we need to provide textbooks and support materials for students and teachers.
