- Most recently, I have worked 7 years in Public Accounting; performing audits on governments, nonprofits and profit businesses
- I earned my Master's in Business Administration from Fresno State University, where I received the Dean's medal
- I worked as a Controller for a fruit packing company
- I am a member of Fresno Rotary, Fresno Women's Network, Beta Gamma Honor Society, and a Board Member of California Society of CPAs
- Married with two sons, one a freshman in college and one in kindergarten

Fresno County has historically been conservative in its debt philosophies. I support a conservative debt position,however a certain amount of debt can be powerful in allowing the County to effectively meet it goals in providing superior services to the taxpayer.
