I regard myself as a liberal activist, particularly on social issues. I am committed to universal health care, equal rights for gays, strong environmental protection, expanding Medicare to include prescription drug coverage, and preserving and strengthening Social Security.

I oppose Bush's proposed StarWars program, his efforts and that of other Religious Right types to blur the separation of Church vs State, and corporate welfare such as Bush proposed in his original post 9/11 stimulus package.
