I BELIEVE IN THE CIVIL RIGHTS OF ALL PEOPLE AND THE RIGHTS OF LABOR WITH THE PASSION OF HUBERT HUMPHREY. I BELIEVE THAT WE SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST NUCLEAR POWER AND FOR THE ENVIRONMENT WITH THE SPIRIT OF JERRY BROWN. I BELIEVE WITH SEN. KENNEDY, THAT THE HEALTH CARE ISSUES AND THE ISSUE OF CHOICE FOR WOMEN ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR WITH VIGOR AND THE SAME COURAGE THAT HE HAS SHOWN ON THE SENATE FLOOR. IF RE-ELECTED TO SERVE, I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW THE IDEALISM OF FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT, THE EXAMPLE OF PRESIDENT CLINTON, AND THE VISION FOR WORLD PEACE AS SHOWN BY WOODROW WILSON. AS A FUTURE TEACHER, I WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THE UTLA AS I DID IN SUPPORT OF JULIE KORNSTEIN AND VALERIE FIELDS, BECAUSE OUR CHHILDREN ARE OUR GREATEST NATURAL RESOURCE AND THEIR BRAINS ARE THE TRUE GOLD RESERVE OF OUR NATION. |
