Our beautiful hills and open spaces need to be preserved for the future benefit of everyone. We must act to prevent these natural areas from becomming victimized by urban sprawl. To do that we need to acquire the land in public ownership.

Once we have acquired the land we must act as a responsible steward to protect and enhance the natural habitat so that it will be available to be enjoyed by future generations.

Thirdly, we must work to provide public access and trails that will allow people to experience the natural beauty of our area first hand. This will ensure a place that our children can visit and learn about the natural environment and escape from the hectic urban environment to renew and revitalize their spirit.
