  • I have been in private practice for the last 12 years, including business, real estate and environmental civil litigation and criminal defense.
  • I am a Vietnam veteran, having commanded a "Green Beret A - Team" in combat.
  • I have volunteered as a Judge Pro Tem for the last 8 years.
  • I am a past president of the Stanislaus County Bar Assn. and of the Criminal Courts Bar Assn. of Stanislaus County.
  • I am active in, and have taken leadership roles in many civic and non-profit orgaiizations.
