Our school board needs a business point of view. We need to plan for times when we have a big budget and plan for times when we a meager budget. Colaboration is key to making the decisions necessary to achieve a high performing school system. It is important to be able to have proven business format when faced with challanges and future planning. A effective philosophy must include the following elements.

  • Discovery of the important facts
  • Ability to determine a plan
  • Willingness to take appropiate actions
  • Strength to implement the plan
  • Focus on followthrough

Politics are important because a effective leader must be able to hear all the sides of the issues. They must be able to focus on making the best decision for the children. A school board leader must be approachable and a problem solver.
