Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Retired/Navy
  • I am California born and graduated from the United States Naval Academy.
  • I spent 20 years as a Carrier Attack pilot & flew 240 combat sorties in Vietnam.
  • I have a Masters degree from University of Northern Colorado in Public Management.
  • After some private sector work, Federal Civil Service, and college teaching, I became Director of Training, County of Fresno in 1977.
  • Two years later, I accepted a position as Veteran's Employment Representative with the Employment Development Dept, State of CA. Ret ired 2/2001.
  • I have served in top leadership positions in more than 35 veteran and community organizations.
