6th Generation Humboldt County Native. Family has worked in the Lumber, fishing and farming industry. Graduated from Eureka High 1986 United States Navy, 1986 - 1990. Served one tour in the Persian Gulf about the U.S.S. Forrestal. Humboldt County Grand Jury, 1995 - 1996 & 2001 - 2002. Attends City Council and community meetings freq.
