Emily will work for:

· Closing the performance gap and raising academic achievement for all children

· Providing access and support to all students for courses required for college admissions

· Increased resources to preserve smaller class sizes and protect the arts curriculum, school nurses and campus security that are threatened by state budget cuts

· Support for our teachers in enabling their students to succeed at their highest potential

· Innovative partnerships to provide universal quality pre-school and after-school care
