Santa Monica Tea Party (Parcel Taxes)
This position paper discusses my independent review of the Santa Monica schools' financial situation -- and describes my ideas for getting more resources for our schools. To date, I have already located more than $2.5 million in unaccounted-for tax dollars that might be owed to our schools.
A Parcel Tax alternative to be debated after Novmeber 5
This position paper asks three questions about the former Measure Y and the new Measure EE that need to be debated to be able to have a "fair" and "equitable" taxing distribution going forward for Eduction; for the additonal funding needed at the Santa Monica Unified School District because the County and State have failed our Kids.
