My name is Jennifer Kennedy and I am currently a Development Assistant at a large entertainment corporation. In addition to my experience in the entertainment industry, I am an active volunteer in our community. I have helped the renters in our city by supporting new legislation that significantly protects tenants. I am a tenant and a supporter of rent control. I am also on the Santa Monican's for Renter's Rights steering committee. I've carefully listened to the concerns of the residents of our city while working on the SMRR hotline. If elected, I will continue to address the issues of tenants and landlords while on the Rent Control Board. I will dedicate myself to fairly uphold the rent control law. |
