Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Pacific Grove; Full Term

I have owned my home in Pacific Grove since 1981. My working career has taken me through the leadership rigors of being a navel aviator, a chief executive officer of an association with an annual budget nearly equal to the Pacific Grove city budget, a communication professional, chairman of the board of a number of local and national organizations, a certified secondary education college degree, and many awards from across the county for skills in leadership and vision.

I am a member of the Pacific Grove Golf Advisory Board and have served as chairman of that board for the past two years. I have been attending city council meetings since the fall of 2001 and believe I am well versed in the many issues that are important to citizens of the community. I have the experience necessary to deal with difficult financial and operational issues that city government must deal with, but most importantly, I have the skill and experience to bring people together for the good of the whole.
