Candidate for
Board Member; Brea Olinda Unified School District

Richard Rios is a long time and third generation Brea resident whose family moved here in 1947. He currently lives near the historic part of town with his wife Kelly and son Logan.

As most parents, Richard Rios wanted to be actively involved and have an influence in his son's education. He chose to run in this November's election after he began to research the policy of the current board. Issues with fiscal accountability, land research for new schools, and complacency appeared to need greater resident involvement. Richard Rios intends to bring the voice of Brea's residents to the school board and ensure our schools continue to achieve the high level of excellence we have all come to expect.
