Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Civil Engineer
  • Civil Engineer - Retired from State of California, still working part time with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Santa Ana Region.
  • Education: Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento; Community College Teaching Credential
  • I served four years as one of five Board Members of the Crestline-Lake Arrowhead Water Agency, which is one of the 27 State Water Contractors.
  • The Coachella Valley Water District is also a State Water Contractor which is the source of imported water for both agencies.
  • I am a Professional Engineer with over 40 years in the water supply, water quality and wastewater fields.
  • I taught night courses in the above fields to mostly water district operators at a community college and at water district offices.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • If elected, I plan to put emphasis in District planning on municipal water supply and water quality, because growth will be in that area.
  • I believe that high quality groundwater should be used for municipal supply and agricultural use switch to Colorado River water wherever feasible.
  • The price of water is known as the best means of water conservation. A tiered water rate structure is a must, large water users pay their fair share.
