In 1956, I entered the United States Marine Corps. I attended
Major instructor courses with an emphasis on Instructional Design and
Development, Curricular Development, Total Quality Management, Adult
Learning Theory, Evaluation Methodologies, and Human Resource Management.
During my final years in the Marine Corps, I was responsible for a $22
Million budget and the procurement and distribution of nuclear, biological and
Chemical supplies to the western Pacific. After my retirement in 1980
From the Marine Corps, I went to work as a senior instructor at the Mare
Island Nuclear Control Office in Vallejo, California.
I have been very active in many civic and community organizations.
I served as Grand knight in the Knights of Columbus, Adjutant,
Of the VFW. In addition, I was Chief Counselor for
The Colombian Squires. They are a youth group of boys between the ages of
Ten to eighteen. Their goal is to develop civic, church and family values.
I was a member of the Napa County School Board before moving to
Antelope. In 2001 I was awarded "Volunteer of the Year Award" for the Napa Valley.
I have been married to Regina for the past 42 years. I raised five
children and have seven Grandchildren.
