The Board position is a conduit between the general community and the Superintendent. I favor an active information flow flow back and forth...


(1) the public knowing how their money is spent and how accountable the programs are.


(2) the Superintendent making decisions within current law and modified as may fit the unique needs of the community.

The role of the 'county office'of education is often misunderstood. The electorate needs to be informed of their unique operations.
