As a harbor commissioner during the past six years, I have represented the public interest and made decisions based on the best information available. Boating is a wholesome form of recreation, and the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor has acted to minimize the effect of boating on the environment. I wholeheartedly support that approach. The harbor should be a place that can also be enjoyed by the non-boating public.
