Political Philosophy for Guillermo Kuhl
Candidate for |

|
I am a father, a postal worker and a concerned member of the community. I am running for office to help give Daly City residents a greater say in how our city is run, and to ensure that taxpayers' money is used on programs that improve the quality of life for our families. I will work to ensure that our City Council: Create, fund and promote youth programs and youth centers in each neighborhood that value, honor and support our young people. Implement a living wage resolution so hardworking people can afford the necessities of life for themselves and their families. Build more affordable housing, and assist low-income tenants. Promote environmental sustainability through programs such as community gardens, tree-planting, bike paths and low-emission city vehicles and I'd like to see our government agencies actively using renewable energy (like solar panels on government buildings). Daly City should do a lot more to help its citizens: language classes, cultural events, youth programs, anti-gang programs, free health services for those in need. With your support and my commitment to public service there is no limit to what we can accomplish. Please reach me at: gkuhl3@aol.com, 650-755-3385, http://www.GuillermoKuhlForDalyCityCouncil.com |
