 - Resident of Windsor since 1981; both daughters attended Windsor schools, including Cali Calmecac Charter School
 - Recipient of 1988 Outstanding Individual Achievement Award for Community Involvement from the California Human Development Corporation
 - First elected to the Windsor School Board in 1988, re-elected in 1992, and ran unopposed in the 1996 election
 - Helped steward the process for Windsor's unification and the passage of a bond measure that built Windsor Middle and Windsor High School
 - Received MA degree in Psychology in 1997; currently working on a Master's Degree in Organization Development at Sonoma State University
 - Job experience includes: grant administration, youth and family counseling; hiring, evaluating and supervising a work team in the electronics industry
