Candidate for
Council Member; City of Palos Verdes Estates

• With many years of volunteer service to the City, I have the knowledge and dedication to protect traditional values while bringing new energy and new ideas to the City Council. As the only campaigning candidate who has not served on the City Council, but still with an in-depth knowledge of the City, I offer a fresh voice to invigorate and strengthen the City Council.

• I am running not with a personal agenda, but to serve the community as I have in my work as Planning Commissioner and member of several city committees. I am a listener, planner and team-builder. I want a City government that is efficient, fair and ethical. Because I am recently retired, I am available full-time to address community needs.

• As the General Manager of Systems Engineering (now retired) of a large aerospace firm, my skills are in analysis of complex systems and determination of objective, fact-based solutions. These analytical skills are accompanied by well developed organizational and "people" skills. I offer these skills to the analysis and resolution of City issues.

• If elected, I will serve to preserve the special character of our city and the excellent quality of life we enjoy.
