It is the duty of the Board to insure the funds entrusted to the district are invested properly.
At this time, every level of service is being affected by an increase in population and decrease of funds. With the Billions of Dollars passing through the district, we can no longer justify anything less than a strict system which insures the students, employees and tax payers receive the service for which they are paying. Mass item approval( in the hundreds) can no longer be excused by a constraint of time or the excuse, this is only a part time position.

The services in the county, city and state, some with life treatening consequences, are being cut. In light of this crisis, our community college district must be an example of prudent and focused spending.
