Established Valley Teacher Training Academy at CSUN--opening 2004
Established School Safety and Security Task Force to make LAUSD safer
Helped establish Kindergarten Intervention Program (KIP) for at-risk kids
Helped establish the five LAUSD Police Academies
Brought phonics back to the classroom--improving test scores citywide

Top Priorities if Elected

I will fight to add 2,000 new police officers in the Valley
I will fight to stop the over-development of our rural areas
I will continue to fight to close the Sunshine Canyon Dump
