  • Appointed CVFD Board of Directors in 1983, and served continously until 1993
  • Appointed Director of the new CVFD shortly after consolidation

Top Priorities if Elected
  • Better communications between the volunteers, the paid staff, Chief Reade and the Board of Directors in order to improve the consolidation process.
  • Continue to press Monterey County for the unpaid tax revenues due the CVFD
  • Fight to keep the "172" funds that are targeted to be taken by the state government.
