Hartnell must keep pace with an ever changing job market. We must ensure that our populace has a solid educational base from which to draw.

QUALITY EDUCATION- In order for our students to succeed, We must maintain quality education without sacrificing jobs or jeapardizing existing programs. We must retain and hire quality teachers. We must ensure that students are provided with the necessary services to meet transfer requirements, obtain certificates of completion or complete their AA.

BUDGET- Hartnell continues under the threat of budget shortfalls. We must exercise sound fiscal management and set aside reserves for the future. Measure H monies must be spent wisely. We must ensure that the projects funded by Measure H are completed without too much inconvenience to the community or student population.

PARTNERSHIPS- Local businesses must step up to the challenge and join forces with Hartnell to ensure that we have a solid and educated workforce from which to draw. We must continue to support the nursing program by ensuring that our students get the services they need to pass the state exam.
