The COM Board of Trustees needs to rebuild the relationship and reestablish trust with the faculty and staff before it hires its new president. I support faculty participation in the search for a new president. The new president must have experience working in a higher education environment and proven experience with shared governance structures. The president must be able to facilitate dialogue with faculty, staff and the board. |
