Candidate for
Board Member; Midcoast Community Council

The Midcoast Community Council provides a forum for discussion of issues affecting the Coastside and a voice for our local community. This voice can be credible only if it respects the many differing views of our residents. As a member of the Council, I will help to establish credibility and respect by making myself accessible to all members of the coastside community through e-mail, phone, and coffee-house chats. I will also work hard to continue to improve the working relationship with the county while advocating the positions that I believe best serve Midcoast residents. Respect for our unique neighborhoods, our coastal environment, and the principles of the Local Coastal Program will guide me in my decision-making.
